Terms of Service
Effective April 17, 2026
These terms cover your use of ViralTwin. If you sign up or use the service, you’re agreeing to them. We try to keep things short and honest. If anything looks wrong, email support@viraltwin.app.
1. Who we are
ViralTwin is a software service that helps you recreate short-form videos using AI. “ViralTwin,” “we,” “us, ” or “our” refers to the operators of viraltwin.app. “You” refers to the person or entity using the service.
2. Your account
You sign up with Google through Clerk. You’re responsible for your account, for keeping access to your sign-in method, and for anything that happens through it. If you suspect unauthorized access, sign out of all sessions and contact us.
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) and legally able to agree to a contract.
3. Subscription and billing
ViralTwin Pro is offered as a monthly subscription billed by Stripe. The current price is $19/month. The price you see at checkout is the price you’ll be charged.
- Your subscription auto-renews monthly until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
- Charges are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, email us within 14 days and we’ll review it in good faith.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. If you don’t want the new price, cancel before the next renewal.
4. Bring your own API key
ViralTwin uses a Bring-Your-Own-Key model for AI generation. You provide an OpenRouter API key, and we proxy requests through it on your behalf to Gemini, GPT-5-mini, Seedance, and any other models the product uses.
You are responsible for the costs OpenRouter charges to your account based on the requests we make on your behalf. We don’t mark up those costs and we don’t bill you for them — they’re paid directly to OpenRouter through whatever billing method you have set up there. We strongly recommend setting a monthly spending cap inside your OpenRouter account.
5. Content you create
You retain all rights to the prompts, reference images, and other inputs you provide, and to the videos generated through the service based on them. We claim no ownership over your content.
You grant us a limited license to host, store, transmit, and process your content solely to operate the service for you (e.g. to display your canvases, run AI generations, and serve your rendered videos).
6. What you can’t use ViralTwin for
You agree not to use ViralTwin to create or distribute:
- Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual content involving minors, or any other content that’s illegal where you live or where the content is consumed.
- Deepfakes designed to deceive or harm a real person, or content impersonating a public figure in a misleading way.
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content promoting violence.
- Disinformation designed to manipulate elections, public health decisions, or financial markets.
You’re responsible for the source videos you point ViralTwin at and for the recreations you generate. Re-creating someone else’s work for personal study, parody, or commentary may be allowed where you live; commercial reuse usually isn’t. When in doubt, get permission.
7. AI output disclaimer
Generations are produced by third-party AI models (Gemini, GPT-5-mini, Seedance, etc.). We can’t and don’t guarantee that any output is accurate, novel, non-infringing, or fit for any particular purpose. Treat AI output as a starting point. Review it before publishing.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but offer no formal SLA. The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may temporarily take parts of the service offline for maintenance, upgrades, or to respond to incidents.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using ViralTwin and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if your usage threatens the integrity of the service, or if required by law. Where reasonable, we’ll give you notice and a chance to fix the issue first.
On termination, your access ends. We’ll delete your data within 30 days unless we’re required to retain it for legal reasons.
10. Disclaimers
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIRALTWIN IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL VIRALTWIN BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify ViralTwin against claims arising from (a) your content, (b) your misuse of the service, or (c) your violation of these terms or applicable law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes we’ll update the effective date at the top and, for substantial changes, notify you by email or in-app banner. Continuing to use the service after changes go live means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in London, United Kingdom, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
